Please follow the Dress Code in all public areas of the monastery, including the common area of the Guest House and surrounding grounds. In general, casual attire is acceptable as long as the clothing is modest and loose-fitting. Please bring clothes and shoes suitable for work. Your work clothes should still fulfill the Dress Code requirements below.

Men:

• Long pants

• Long-sleeved shirt

• A short-sleeved shirt is allowed for outdoor work

• No clothing with large words, logos, or worldly designs

• Socks must be worn with all footwear including sandals or open-toed shoes

Women:

• Loose-fitting, long dress

• Long-sleeved blouse that closes to the neck

• Head scarf

• No makeup or perfume

Overnight stays are welcome, but we ask that you stay no longer than four days.

Visitors staying at the monastery and all those attending services must observe the order of the Monastery. Service times are based on Byzantine Time and may vary depending on the time of year you may be visiting.

Please reserve a place in the Guest House at least a month in advance. Groups of no less than three and no more than nine are a requirement.

Meals will be the responsibility of the visiting group. Plan your grocery shopping accordingly. The Guest House has a well appointed kitchen.
